- Security Review - Pentagon
- DOD
Directorate for Freedom of Information
Cdr. Gerald Voorhies at the time was working with me when
- we visited at Security Review. He was very instrumental for
- me in resolving many technical nuisances of FOIA law.
However, his time at the Pentagon was short, and now we
- have indifferent personnel back in the seat.
The hard part is knowing were your going in this antiquated
- monstrosity. Only the E-wing was posh, and of course thats
- were Rostker, and Cohen hang out.
First thing, as you go in the front entrance off the Metro, you
- have to go through front desk security. Its exactly like boarding
- a Air plane, so expect it to go slow. Also, unless your active
- duty you have to have a badge, and escort.
Security Review is to your right, then you turn left toward the
- commisary, and down a long hall way.
They have a reading room to the left, and you are allowed to
- photocopy anything thats in the reading room. Keep in mind
- that quite a bit of declassified Gulf War literature is sitting
- on those shelves in there.
